Baby Shower

Tricia and Courtney threw an amazing baby shower for me on March 28th. The theme of the shower was "The 12 Gifts of Birth" which was based on the book. The 12 gifts included love, talent, compassion, faith, strength, beauty, courage, hope, joy, imagination, reverence, and wisdom. Everyone brought gifts that had to do with the "gift of birth" they were given. It was so thoughtful and very emotional! We also played a "Price is Right" game and had a showcase showdown with items based on the things a mother will need in the 12 hours after the baby is born. (That's why Tricia is wearing clothes with "spit-up", "baby poop", and "breast milk lactation" on them!!) It was a great time and Elaine won being only off on the price by an amazing $.01. It was such a wonderful day and shared with such wonderful friends!! There are no words to thank them enough for such a special party.
